A family table in the heart of Victoria.

Minutes from Victoria Station, Il Posto has been pouring wine and plating pasta for Londoners and travellers alike since 1892 — a proper, old-school family restaurant where the welcome is warm and the recipes have been passed down, not reinvented.

Everything begins in our kitchen each morning: pasta rolled by hand, sauces simmered slowly, dough left to prove for the wood-fired oven. Whether it's a long lunch or a quick bite before the theatre, you're looked after like family.
